Just wanted to introduce myself to this awesome website that someone introduced me to on Ebay when I was selling my prototypes and getting robbed by Ebay on transaction fee's
I have many protypes to sell if people are interested and have the cash to pay for them, as of right now after opening up some boxes I have these proto's to sell for now until I locate my other boxes that have.
Solomons Key 1 (Prototype) and I may be getting back my Solomons Key 2 Prototype since the person who bought it seems to have buyers remorse. Ebay is screwing sellers big time nowadays.
Tower of Radia (Prototype)
I currently have others to sell, but if nobody on ebay purchases them I will list them here. (Ebay will not let me cancel when there is bidding involved)
Anyway, I have lots of knowledge on Tecmo games if you have questions, and I still know the creators of our games through facebook.
Take care fellow gamers!
Whalecum! I hope you enjoy your time here! I'm new as well!
Thanks guys... I'll be back soon to discuss things I have. Thanks for all the PM's - I'll get back to you too soon. Busy life at the moment, but will get back soon to everybody!
One thing I would encourage you to do is to look through your box of prototypes and compare them to the NA database. If you have any late stage protos of unreleased or cancelled games, you may be sitting on a goldmine. These need to be treated with care and placed in the proper hands so they can be backed up and preserved. Also of historical interest are early alpha builds of production games which may have varying stages of completion or content that differs from the final release.
Be sure to PM Big Effing Nuts from the previous page. He's a great guy who cares about preservation and has dumped numerous protos from his personal collection.
Frickin' radical man!!! (and in no way was that sarcasm)
Nice you have you! It'd be great to pick your brain or hear some stories. If you have anything neat you want to share, I'm sure people would love to hear some stories about you making games.
Hi, welcome to NA! I'm "older" than you by a few weeks (in terms of membership). I'm not a collector of prototypes but very interested to learn more about the historical aspects of the late 80s to 90s era. I was a gamer since the late 80s myself, and read up on hundreds of gaming mags since the days of EGM. I don't recall having played many Tecmo games other than Dead or Alive and Ninja Gaiden, but both being great titles. Spill out some more retro info whenever you get the chance!
