No more asterisk!
Since completing my loose/cib mixed licensed NTSC NES set, there's been an asterisk (*PAL Stadium Events).
As of this weekend, no more asterisk!
This was something I didn't expect was going to happen... like ever. But my wife sprung this on me unexpectedly. I've spoken here about my wife's terminal condition before. Well last week we got a life insurance settlement in relation to that, and knowing that this was something I've been wanting to make happen, she suggested I use a portion of that settlement as a thank you gift from her to me for taking care of her. Basically my wife is amazing. And here we are!
Thus for really reals completing my NTSC NES Licensed set

Nope. This was the one sitting on ebay with a high BIN but obo.

Correct. But ebay is weird about displaying sale prices when it comes to obo sales. I didn't pay 15.

Definitely is. Though i didn't really set out to find a super clean copy. This was just the first one to agree on a price. I even tried to reach out to that guy selling the cutout head copy, but he didnt respond before this happened
Congrats Archon! Now that it is complete, any desire to go after some boxes and manuals to go with those loose copies? I know it happened to me :-P
For nes and snes, I generally collect cib only for games i have a real connection to. Like the other day, i got a cib copy of tecmo baseball and i was really excited because i have a strong nostalgic connection to that game. I more or less already have the cib games i want.

I wish eBay would put the actual sale price when the game was purchased through a best offer. It would help out with people using eBay completed listings to set prices. Did you go back and forth with seller with best offers or did they accept the first offer?
