N64 Kiosk
Does anyone know if the n64 kiosk came with a nfr console? I have one that came straight off of the good guys store floor and sat in the same guys living room for 16 years. When I looked under the console I didn't see anything. I've seen consoles when "not for resale" is carved into the bottom. I have a hard time believing Nintendo would CARVE into their consoles. Any help would be nice.

I would think yes but I can't check my kiosk to help but I know what you are talking about
Well hey you!
Yes, it was branded on the back of the console. check out my restoration thread I've got pretty good pictures of it on there.
It is not on all kiosk N64 models based on my experience over the years. Have had a few N64 kiosk come my way and helped others with their units as well. One of my kiosk units is new never used on display. This one lacks the NFR markings. Think if it was something NOA did from the start it would be branded on this one. Which N64 kiosk do you restore? Was the system something you bought for the restoration?

Pegs were attached to the ventilation on the sides of the console that screwed into the Fan Plate.

My N64 kiosk console has both a stiff paper NFR label and branding melted into the plastic. I will snap pics if you want to see it. Just let me know.
