  • Gotta say, other than the Pico I dont know of a more oddball system. Good luck!
  • Thanks.

The ngage system have around 55 games official.

I hope I'll finish it end of year 2018
  • Now that is cool. I love seeing people collecting oddball stuff like this.

Good luck getting Sega Rally though, haha.
  • I bought Sega Rally, sealed

I'm waiting it in my letter box
  • Very fun system to collect for, alot of odd stuff. Still looking for Shadowkey myself
  • nice I love Ngage! Im always on the lookout for the games but you rarely come across them.
  • I always thought a shipping container of ngage games would pop up and tank the market so I never pursued the set, dumb move games like Shadowkey are now quite collectible.
  • Neat, don't see that everyday.

    Interesting titles there for sure
  • I see those sealed on ebay all the time and they have pretty neat cover art. That looks like a fun set to collect.

    Which games?

  • So basically this is like wait till each title pops up and buy it collection right? Ive never seen an ngage game in the wild. I got some empty casss once.

This doesnt feel like something youd run into much

  • I think he feels like you don't approve. So sorry it's not what you're looking for or interested in. That's my guess.
  • I thought he was just asking for clarification on what quest was saying
  • I was just thinking about this system the other day and wondering the prices. Now I have to check what I've got.
  • I love how the carts are like the same size as the Switch.

Is the reason I have never heard the term Ngage that I am old or that I am lame? This is a serious question, really. From some of the conversation it sounds like a newer, more obscure system, but the inclusion of what looks like the original tony hawk makes me wonder if its something I jist flat out missed because I dont pay enough attention? Either way good luck with your mission, OP. Your thread opened my eyes to a whole new system I didnt know existed.

If anything Ngage collectors are probably the lame ones haha. I think it came out in around 2003 when i graduated highschool. I just remember cause i saw it at ebgames advertised and it had a hugely slashed price. Its funny cause i could have sworn it just came out not long before i saw that. Its nokia's way of trying to combine a cellphone with a handheld gaming system. I ended up getting one a year later thinking it was the coolest thing ever. It actually wasn't that bad either had some pretty good games just not many came out but overall its got alot of good solid titles on mmc cards and it was pretty cool seeing 3d games play pretty smoothly on a cellphone resolution of that time. I remember eb games was clearing out games for like $1.99 a piece brand new. I still play it from to time. Its pretty fun but bad controls but hey, thats half the fun of it hahah.

Its an easy one to miss, I dont really remember much about it when it was new and I was at that age where I was keeping up with all the latest tech stuff

Basically its a cellphone. I guess Nokia wanted to tap into the gamer market and release something that wasnt snake on a phone. It didnt do very well.. because it was shaped like a taco and you had to hold it sideways to use it as a phone, so you looked like a moron using it. Not sure how well the games were made, but if anything there are interesting titles in the library. SSX, Tony Hawk, Tomb Raider, Elder Scrolls (wait, really? wow.)

From what i know about the USA, there are some areas served by CDMA only, a different cellphone tech which was not compatible with gsm phones which is what the N-Gage used, hence maybe why you have never heard of this phone?
