  • Yu-Gi-Oh, Digimon...Pet rocks.
  • Tamagotchis were pretty dumb.

Looks like they're making a comeback
  • These things, where you push down on the center and then they'd pop up into the air, were all the rage in grade school. Teachers confiscated enough to fill drawers and yet they still showed up.

    Yu-Gi-Oh is bigger than ever...

Now Furby and Beanie Babies are where it was at!
  • Pogs.

    Easy Bake Oven.

Lite Brite [I thought this was magical, haha].

    Tickle-me Elmo.

I'm sure there are plenty of others.

Although at various points of my child-hood I had all of the above except Tickle-me Elmo.
  • Super soakers.

The OG green and yellow one.
  • Jnco's Yo! I miss the days when i could fit a SNES in my pocket! Least favorite were probably those little backpacks that were popular in the 90s. And kids who brought Kool Aid powder in mini m&m tubes! What was that about?

Sadly yes. I buy stuff around here and try to resell it for a few dollars profit here and there to sprinkle some extra cash into my video game account. Yugioh is big money right now. They are releasing a new format or something to make old cards good again.

  • Finger skateboards were oddly popular for a while. Between periods in elementary school was when the boys would gather in the bathroom and do sick tricks on the window ledge.

Rubber band guns were an intense flash in the pan.

Loved those rubber caps that you inverted, someone posted above.

We used the sink for finger skateboards, they were just like "Tony Hawk's Bowl"
  • One fad I wish I still had are my old Rumble Robots. You haven't lived until you've played a round with Boltman and Lugnut.
  • Finger Skateboards!!! XD damn, havent thought of those in forever! What about Spin Fighters? I guess that would be like the Beyblade shit nowadays. I remember asking for Crossfire one year for a birthday and i got Spin Fighters instead, lol
  • Devil sticks

    Pogs

    Yoyos
  • Pump up shoes
  • Those awful fidget spinners should die out any day now....

    Whatabout heely shoes? Or Soaps?

Whatabout the "original" Spinners? The rims on your car that spun! Ha! The cheap ones were terrible. The nice ones were admittedly cool to look at.
  • Mine have probably all been mentioned, but I was born in 1991 so I remember quite a few.

    -pogs

    -tamagotchi

    -furby

    -tech decks

    -yoyos

    -beanie babies

Besides Yu-Gi-Oh which as mentioned by other posters is still going strong Digimon is still popular also. There are two Digimon games on the PS4 one just came out earlier this year.

  • In-humanoids and mad/blurpballs

The nice ones could make a car look like it was floating. Very neat.
