I don't think we even have to give it to anyone if we don't want. We could just ignore it and not take the chance of it being bad. It sounds like an Indy power, much like how last game I was able to make different events happen. I wouldn't mess with it to be safe.
Its randomly assigned to someone at the end of the day.
I think we should just let it go to someone random.
Well I'll ask since I'm to lazy to look back, dra600n has done day events before, last one was say a specific phrase from a wheel of fortune like strategy and when said it randomly killed someone but that one was not forced on someone? I think something like that. Did he have any other ones? I don't think any of the day events were trigger by a person if i recall from his last game, so this time speed up may be a mechanic of the game and may have happened since no one was lynched. Just specuations right now

Cause we would just do that every day 1 to randomly lynch someone and wouldn't have to worry about figuring it out. this game is about communication and figuring out lies and deceptions from truths

Its a cloak. So chances are it will hid or protect someone. If my guess is right then town could really use this at night. If a wolf get this they could probably hid as well which would be really bad for town.
@Dragoon for day 2 we are electing someone to wear the cloak, are we also lynching someone today?
It's a normal day 2. Yes, you can vote to lynch someone or not.
I love the people complaining about no lynch. Seriously? We have ZERO Deaths. No town has been lynched and we've learned plenty about each other and what we all think and how we all play.
I propose that we move forward as planned and lynch a quiet. Dead weight may as well be dead.
I'm the only one that complained...and I'll reiterate. Noy lynching someone was a horrible idea. What's the difference between lynching someone this day as opposed to day 1? There is none. No night roles apparently happened, no one learned anything new....and now you want to lynch quiet people--which you were opposed to on day 1. Why?
Alakhira complained right after you did.
I do not WANT to lynch quiet people. If it were 100% up to me, we'd once again lynch nobody. But there's slim chance of that happening since you and others like you can't see the obvious benefit of it. So, like I said on Day 1 (I'll reiterate because you obviously weren't paying attention), if we MUST vote someone off, let it be some dead weight quiet person.
Right now I'd say we are in a GREAT position. We know who thinks what, we know what people think on a number of matters, we have a magical cloak hanging around that may or may not be good, AND there are NO townspeople dead yet. I have no idea how you can look at our situation and be so negative about it. I'd say we're doing splendidly.
We're doing awful. You need to have votes and put pressure on people to see if they crack or not...to see if they magically pop up after being a non-presence in posting, to see what excuses they make for not wanting to be lynched. To be able to look back after wolves are outed and killed to see how they voted, how they reacted when others were voted for, etc.

bronty (1) - Hogie1418
If we opt to let the cloak be randomly given to someone will it be said who randomly got the cloak?

I think you and I are going to have to simply agree to disagree in this regard then. No point you and I going back and forth when neither of us will budge.

I do have to partially agree with Limbo on this. We do need to start making people uncomfortable otherwise we will get nowhere. Being my first play through I did want to see what would happen on the first night before jumping on the the lynch bandwaggon, but now that we are to day 2, something does need to happen. Is there a time cap on these games?

I'm fine with dropping it and just moving forward. I still think it's worthwhile for me to get the cloak, but don't think I can vote for myself because of rule 3a.

We have until then to do something.
I could be wrong, but I think Mr. Hogie meant will the game end completely if we take too long to kill the wolves. The answer to that is not usually, but there could be a special GM rule implimented. The game ends in either the werewolves outnumbering the town, the town eliminating all threats to the town, or potentially an independant fufilling their winning conditions.
I know the cloak vote's been the main focus so far, but are we (for the most part) agreeing on voting an inactive? I haven't seen Generic since the beggining "I'm in", so I propose we vote him.

I'll take it, I honesty dont care either way. Everyone is just making a big deal about who takes it. Then with the talk about how random stuff usually works with this game combined with my knowledge of the show made me kinda shy away from it (like what if it is an instadeath because time and space rip you apart). I'll still take it, I just don't want everyone getting mad because we can't agree. Like I said, I'm new to this and am willing to risk it just for the fun of playing, if you don't believe that's my play style just go look at Survivor and see how I played that...it is honestly 100% up to you guys. I even said if I take it I won't use it unless we have a majority vote to use it. If having it makes me a target for the wolves to eat me or for the town to lynch me, then so be it. At least something will FINALLY happen.

Yeah I'm voting to lynch, the problem is the quiet ones...because of the lack of posts it hides if they are helping or hurting. Because of other posts I now know 100% that two of you are town and 80% sure one of you is a wolf

I don't think we even have to give it to anyone if we don't want. We could just ignore it and not take the chance of it being bad. It sounds like an Indy power, much like how last game I was able to make different events happen. I wouldn't mess with it to be safe.

I don't think any of the day events were trigger by a person if i recall from his last game, so this time speed up may be a mechanic of the game and may have happened since no one was lynched. Just specuations right now

Cloak Vote Tally:
puppywaffles (1) - ne$_pimp
bronty (1) - Hogie1418
If we opt to let the cloak be randomly given to someone will it be said who randomly got the cloak?

I can't answer that question.

It's in the subtitle of the thread: "Day 2 ends 7/18/2017, 11:00 PM EST/NA time".
We have until then to do something.

I'm fine with dropping it and just moving forward. I still think it's worthwhile for me to get the cloak, but don't think I can vote for myself because of rule 3a.

If puppy doesnt want it now then that means he has a role or is a wolf and doesnt want to risk it. If hes town then he kinda exposed himself. Im getting a wolf vibe
I know the cloak vote's been the main focus so far, but are we (for the most part) agreeing on voting an inactive? I haven't seen Generic since the beggining "I'm in", so I propose we vote him.
