Having been raised in a non-religious family, the idea of people believing in gods has always been a bit confounding to me. Believe what you want, of course, but short of a God straight up showing him/herself, I'm not going to join you.
I don't care what anyone else believes except for myself. Unless people are badgering me or insulting me, or hurting someone, let them do and believe whatever they choose when it comes to religion.
That is what this country was founded on right? I know people from all walks of life that are both terrible examples and great examples for their groups way of thinking.
look, in my family we use newtonian physics and euclidean geometry. that's all we need. we're not going to dive into the quantum foam to measure wood to make a shelf, we're building a shelf. no need to stroke our beards or stone those who do. now if you'll excuse me, there's metroid to be played.

Of course, and unfortunately we still have a lot of people who do the above sadly Some people just don't realize they can't force their views on people. Some do it intentionally, and some people i actually do feel just don't realize how pushy they might come off.
Either way, these people, even when bothersome, you can just ignore. Usually.......

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that the survey question wasn't crafted in the most offensive and belittling way possible.
Well even if it isn't ranked, one (depending on one's sensibilities) might well argue that it is rank.
