Was walking around Toys R us and saw this toy hammock and then saw Banjo Kazooie on it! How odd is it to have an n64 era item just laying around to use to stage a photo for some packaging in 2017.
I'm going to give an educated guess that this is from a small company and marketing sent out an email blast asking for people to bring in stuffed animals for a photo shoot. I'd suspect this, rather than collecting a bunch up from Goodwill because the junk at Goodwill would either be worn out and/or overpriced.
You couldn't bring in a Mario or Yoshi and expect it to be used because everyone knows about those characters However, a Banjo and Kazooie is likely to completely slip by anyone in marketing looking for identifiable IP.
