My Finished Gaming Basement Turned Out Pretty Sweet!
I've been working on finishing half of my basement for almost exactly one year now. Got my pool table in last week and my couch in today and am officially DONE! Originally, my wife told me that I could do whatever I wanted if I finished it, so I did

A short summary - I pretty much did everything except the windows and carpet. We re-ran the electric, put in new panels, new doors, new plumbing, built the walls, taped, tiled, grouted, did concrete, built some cabinets, painted, built the shelves, etc. Lots of work, but I wanted it done the way I wanted it done. My dad and my brother also deserve a lot of credit for helping me out throughout the process - especially with the panels and plumbing.
Couple Notes:
-A lot of this stuff came from NA members and from friends over the years, so thanks NA!
-I also collect TMNT, Penguins, and Pepsi stuff, so you'll see that scattered in there. It's definitely primarily video gaming though.
-My main objectives on the outset was being able to visibly shelf the entire PS2 collection and to get a pool table
And the finished product:

Why does one picture always come out sideways . Either way, it's my accessory closet.

Did you get all the gamestop promo stuff for free? Looks great
Nah. I had a hookup for awhile when I had a friend that worked at one, but then I moved. Most of the first party stuff and TMNT stuff I bought online. I went through a huge buying spree where I bought pretty much any new title's offical store advertising. Also won an auction on here for a small chunk of it.
Congrats on the awesome setup! I'm looking to upgrade on a bigger house hopefully this year, and can't wait to do some home decorations and game room design. Just curious how far have you got into the PS2 collection? Looks quite meaty!
I'm at 83.6% of the black label set. Getting there, but it's a freaking huge library.
For the services adjacent to your foosball table, are you able to create a cupboard around them? If so, you will get more poster space as it looks like you are running low
Two things I thought about:
A. Don't ever anger this person. Those are some serious looking weapons over by the bar.
B. I mean this very sincerely --- I hope you have a really good sump pump / waterproofing system for that basement!! If not, it may be seriously worth investing in to protect your stuff.
Seriously though, you should move all that stuff upstairs and live downstairs
