Bandai family fun fitness pad

So today I picked up a few lots, and the question I have is with the bandai family fitness pad. I was always under the impression that while an excellent item, it was not worth a ton. For fun, I did a little exploring on eBay and found a few current listings that probably don't speak to my example very well as it's not mint or in fantasictic shape, but is all there none the less and while being beat up I find it super cool. I reached out to a few people here and they didn't really know what I'd be looking at.

I looked at some sold listings on ebay, and I don't think those match up very well easily. So I have little knowledge on what the thing is actually worth.

That being said, I'm probably not gonna sell it but would rather know the price just to see if it would be worth shuffling a few things around to display it. (I have limited space at the moment and haven't had a he guts to ask my roommate about setting up in extra room).

Of course there wasnt a copy of stadium events, just thought I would clarify that now lol. I'm lucky but not that lucky.

I only have one picture at the moment and I'm sorry it's kinda bad, I could put more up tomorrow for a more accurate idea. So the pic is part of the lot I picked up. (Guy I bought it from lived in a super sweet gated community in Omaha , out of the three lots I picked up today, everybody selling seems to be incredibly rich).

Can anyone shed some light on the?

Edit: This is a recycled thread, if anyone wondered what happened to that gamecube sign I sold it back to the place I got it from years ago and told him what I was told. (Got hooked up with some nice Saturn games out if it  , all be it they were "cut outs, if you are not familiar with the term, it happens a few ways, these were just opened up, shrink wrapped, and then sold as new, if that doesn't make sense.feel.free to reach out and I can try to explain it)
My local game store guy is the best, and everything I go there we go to his warehouse and it blows my mind everytime.

Tangent there sorry about that.

Can anyone help me understand what I got? If so, message me or quote me so I get an email.

Thanks in advance, nearly anything would be helpful.

  • Sent you a message, can't see pics but happy to help.
  • That's not a neon. It looks like it's lightbox that's lit by fluorescent tubes. Depending on the size of the tubes, they could be a bit annoying to replace because they're harder to find. I'd not be too afraid to open it up to fix the burned out tube.
  • yeas a s mentioned that is not neon. You will have bulbs inside there with some retrofit fixture. Pull it apart (if your afraid, be sure to unplug the sign first) read the info on the bulb then head too http://www.topbulb.com/ and purchase your replacements and twist them back in
  • I am a Gamecube collector and would love to add that sign to my collection. That is awesome!
  • That may be a sign for one of the GameCube sections in old stores.? It may have always came with a chain to hang it on but that could have been fitted at the top of an aisle. Kind of like the sections at Walmart for the newer systems. Will say PS4 Xbox Wii above the section.

Maybe somebody who knows more can chime in
  • So Ive had a bit of a hard day, so I figured I would open up the sign, and as it turns out, someone poorly spray painted the inside of the sign. I got the paint off, but tomorrow I will need new bulbs and do some buffing. It's looking pretty great right now. Hopefully i can buff out the scratches from chipping the spray paint away. This will likely be for trade/sale when I'm done.
  • So I think we can close this one. I sort have restored it myself and will likely have it up for sale soon. This is what my green nightmare sign looks like now http://nintendoage.com/index.cfm?FuseAction=My.Images&Album_ID=Uncategorized#Uncategorized
  • New price check thingy.
  • I've been seeing open auctions end recently anywhere from $100-150 for rhe more tattered CIBs, and a couple higher ones that seemed more about the nice quality of the box.

Me, I'd just want a CIB because its cool. Love me some World Class Track Meet.
  • Ferris provided the same range I've seen them sell for. Up to $150 in the condition you have, and would be higher with a nicer box. They aren't super common and are desirable to people who own Stadium Events so you shouldn't have trouble finding a buyer.

Thanks for your help! I won't sell it but I figure it's pretty cool and deserves a spot in my collection.

Thank you! If I remember right, you have stadium events, I envy a bit.
