I just got an emaill from Walmart about preorder for SNES Classic. I preordered one and figured some other people may want to know about it.

    I preordered from Wally World, too. I wanted a NES mini and missed my chance. Initially, I felt $60 was too much for the NES Mini. BUT, when the SNES was released in 1991, it was $199 ($359 in 2017 dollars.). AND, it came with one game. So, maybe it is a good value. Also, I only own two of the included games.



    Anyone waiting for reviews or hacks before they buy?

    Ordered mine, hopefully not too late. I could see them cancelling preorders. Seems like email went out around 10:30 CST and I placed my order around 11:05

    I've literally never ordered anything from Walmart before. Is it a bad sign when the order details say, "Processing"?

    Got the email from Walmart at 10:32, glanced at my phone and ignored it. Randomly checked emails at 11 and it said it's in stock! Bwahhhh! Got my preorder in the nick of time, I almost missed it!

    That is true, with the mass of preorders filled at the same time there's good chances their system got flooded and took more than they had to offer.

    That was my first thought as well, that it was a mistake. 



    I still have a strong feeling these will be much easier to get than an NES Classic.

    The Walmart email in stock alert came at 11:34 on my phone. My order was in by 11:39.
