Canadian Donkey Kong

Forgive me if this is a silly one but i dont know much about canadian releases. I came across this DK cart and just realized it is not a US release. Still plays just fine. Any additional information out there from the community? Is this release more or less common than the US counterpart? Are these desirable? Pics below.

  • I think the only difference is that they're both super apologetic and nice to each other at the end, the oil can may also contain syrup but I'm not entirely sure.
  • It is a NTSC release (which refers to the TV signal), but you're right, it is a Canadian release cart. All 1st party NES games have a Canadian releases. It is rarer just because Canadian releases were always very smaller than US ones, but it generally doesn't command a higher price, especially if it is just a cart.
  • ya they are exactly the same, no price diff either way
  • Instead of a painter's cap Jumpman wears a winter hat with flaps over the ears.
