Neither of the teams are my hometeam, so I won't be heart broken with the outcome of the series, but it is pathetic the league is deciding to suspend Gurriel at the start of the season and not immediately. The disrespectful behavior is being rewarded. If a teammate screws up and gets suspended, the team suffers and has to deal with it. The World Series and Darvish dealing this with class is not a reason to wait to suspend. Ridiculous.

They are also saying that the balls are slicker this post season, which would make breaking balls harder to throw causing them to hang and fastballs harder to keep down, both of which would lead to some harder hit balls.
Regardless.... with how exciting the world series has been, I can all but guarantee you that the mlb will not be going back to the old balls next year (If there was a change in the first place).

Wow. Great game. Not as much of a heart attack for me as G7 of last year, but definitely one of the better back & forth baseball games I've ever watched.
What an incredible game, I had a lot of money riding on a Houston win (got in at the +140 money line before the late push down), the swings were insane!
