NES Z-Bag worth it?

Looking to get a Z-Bag (That Blue, Red and Yellow official licensed carring case for the NES) I had one as a kid and used it plenty for trips beween Puerto Rico and Miami. 



I have a chance to get another one, but I got thinking what would I be using it for. I thought of maybe using it to store my controllers and NES accesories. But a 3.00 plastic bin can also do the job of a 25-35 dollar bag that is almost 30 years old next year.

    I have seen pics of them online be used as coolers. I use them for storing systems and accessories. $25-35 is a little high for me, of course it depends on their condition.

    Yes. OP did not provide a pic, so I am going with the most common of them all.

    Zbags were made for a reason, use them as such.

    You can probably find one at a swap or con for $10 - $20. I see them often.

    I'd get one if the price was right, I've been looking around on eBay and they are asking way too much money for them. I've been looking for them cheap made wooden Nintendo wall mounts too. People on eBay think if it has a Nintendo label on it they gonna make some money! Lol

    There is an old thread about them. The pics are not working anymore, but the text is there. When I get my stuff together I willl probably make a new one with pics.

    the black one is the more elusive one. but the other is with mario and luigi can be obtained. the more common one which you see all over ebay is the all blue.

    I have a couple of the Mario Bros. z-bags and use them all the time for travel. Great for the NES CE!

    I have no idea why, but I've only seen the common one and fools own them. They think a Gamecube belongs into the 3 I've seen in the last few years and will not sell it for anything less than more than buying them online. I've tried to just get the bag and it's not even a money issue, it's a hard no on a bundle. Pretty much given up trying to get one around here because of it. I won't walk by one without asking but not bothering to look either.
