Definitely love staying up late even though my alarm goes off at 3:30 for work 4 days a week, on my days off I try to stay up 22-24 hours since I've woken up. I want to be able to enjoy my time and not have to cash in early.
I like waking up early AND staying up late. I'm pretty sure if I had no societal obligations, I'd be waking up in the afternoon and going to sleep at like 10am.
I'm both. It comes from liking staying up late to having to get up early to go to work. Weekends I'm up by 4:30am and most weekdays it's 5:30am. On the occasional day off I sleep in until whenever I get up, usually after 10 sometime.
I love staying up late. Maybe it's because the house is quiet and the kids are asleep. I have no responsibilities late at night. If I could then I'd stay up until the sun rises every day. Having to get kids to school on-time is the only reason why I turn in around 1am every night. A few years ago I could push it to 2:30am and wake up by 7am. Nowadays I turn in around 1am.
At work by 7AM M-F. Not even forced to -- I like having a quiet empty office to start my day with. But really, the Bay Area traffic is miserable otherwise.
I'm early to bed and early to rise. I know the best way to get sleep and keep your body in rhythm is to go to bed and get up at the same time every day. So, that is exactly what I do, seven days a week.
Night owl. When I have to wake up I tend to stay up until midnight/1AM but when I don't have anything the next day I can easily go to sleep at 4AM and wake up at noon. Blame the late night coding sessions
I'm forced to wake up early for my job every day but given the choice I generally don't sleep in too late and I'm finding it harder and harder to stay up late at night anymore. So I guess neither, really. Also depends on your definition of early and late.
I'm definitely a night owl. No matter what I do, I have trouble falling asleep before midnight and I always have difficulty getting up early the following morning. The other day I went to sleep around 12:30 AM and I had to be up at 4:00 that same morning for a 12 hour drive. Despite the small amount of sleep, later that night I was still wide awake at midnight. I can't seem to break the cycle. I've been this way my entire life.
If I get 5-6 hours of sleep, I feel energized in the morning. If I get 8 or more, i'm a zombie all day and I need to force myself out of bed.
This x1000000! I don't stay up too late, but I go to bed around 10:30/11pm and I'm up for work around 4:30am. If for some reason I fall asleep early, I will feel like garbage for the entire next day.

If I don't, my kitties will make sure I am up at 6 am.

Stay up late playing games Friday and Saturday's.
I stay up late and get up early, so....both?

I'll second that. But I do usually need to get in 7-8 hours Saturday and Sunday to catch up or a 2 hour nap during the weekend.
