Skeleton Warriors Demo Disc for Sega Saturn
I've actually had this for a while, but never got around to doing much research on it. I found it at Goodwill for a few bucks a little over 2 years ago. I've never seen a Saturn demo disc that came in a full long box jewel case. I thought it was the entire game until I looked closer at it. There is no manual. There is just a thick card stock cover in place of the manual. The "game number" that usually shows up on the spine says "XXXX." The rating is RP (which seems common for demo discs). Also, there is no bar code on the back. On the inside is a small cardboard disc sleeve which is what I would normally expect a demo disc to come in. I guess I'm just confused because I never thought Sega would put a demo disc in a full long box jewel case and also include a cardboard sleeve on the inside.
So my first though was, is this case fake? If so, someone put some serious effort into it because the cover and insert are very high quality prints that look and feel exactly like originals. If Sega made it, why also include a cardboard sleeve for the disc? Why have both? Anyways, I was just curious if anyone has seen this before? I have yet to find another one online either on eBay or in Google image searches.

I mean, wouldn't it cost less to produce them in cardboard sleeves than to use the retail template and case? Very strange. Cool item though!
