Greatly Appreciate Help
Hello,
I would love some help with this if you guys can guide me. I have a PAL NES toploader that has a video display error (Nes.JPG) which shows a few garbled graphics on a white screen. This happens with all games used in the same pattern. I have removed the board (5375/5376.jpg) and cleaned the 72 pin connector contacts (thouroughly). I have also used a 72 pin connector from a working nes and also one i bought from ebay all show the same result. Finally I have reflowed the ppu, cpu and sram chips but unfortunately still nothing. I have checked for cap leakage/damage and it all seems good so i am stumped on where to go next.
I would really appreciate any help and if anyone has seen this particular error before what you did to fix it.
Thank you.
Peter
