Sorry to hear this Zoomer it really sucks loosing a loved one. had to put my german shepard to sleep a year ago and i'm still not over it. it sounds like you made the right decision though as your haminator is in a better place where he can pack his cheeks to his little hamster hearts content.
Losing a pet is always hard. Recently my wife and I had to put our cat Mushu to sleep. She was the first pet we owned as a couple. She had a liver condition, we did everything we could afford, but had to make the same hard decision you did. Any hamster would be blessed to have you as an owner.
rip mika, that guy sounds hardcore cause of the fact that he needed all that to be put to sleep, anyways reading your thread your hamster sounds like an awesome little dude, I had a hamster that had a huge tumor towards his back but he wasnt suffering to hard, anyways that is awesome that you did all that for your pet im sure he had a great life
