Need Wii game recommendations
My brother wanted his family to have a Wii (so I hooked him up), now he's wanting a decent selection of games and I want to put together a nice X-mas present for the family. My niece is going to be 8 soon and likes Disney and Star Wars at the moment. She apparently wasn't a big fan of Raving Rabbids, which I think is fun and thought she'd totally be into as well! They have tried Mario Kart and Mario Party and enjoy those. Wii Sports is so-so for them as well.
Any recommendations are appreciated! Thanks!

If the Wii you gave them is Gamecube BC, be sure to take a look at that library as well.

When my nephew was that age, he loved the Lego games - all of them, and there are several! Lego Harry Potter, Lego Star Wars, etc.
Some others:
Geometry Wars (if into that kinda game)
Marble Mania
Okami (could be difficult for younger)
New Super Bros wii
Super Mario Galaxy
Kirby Epic Yarn

Yeah - he actually really liked Mario Galaxy. I think it was hard for him at first just getting used to 3d platforming and jumping on goombas and such, so it probably depends on the person, but he did enjoy it. I played two-player with him quite a bit to help out, which was a lot of fun!
A lot of the suggestions after mine are also really good, but I can't recommend the LEGO games enough. Both my nephew and my friend's kids really enjoyed them a lot, and the difficulty level is really low. He especially loved the Lego Star Wars games, which sounds right up your niece's alley.
You might also check out Epic Mickey - It could be a little bit difficult as well, but since you mentioned she likes Disney I thought of it - I really liked that game. And then of course there is Disney Infinity - my friend's kids liked that one quite a bit although it's a little bit of a money-grab with the little figures.
I may have some of these games sitting around - I will check and see as I have some extras.
