Question about non-working GameShark Color/Pocket

Heya guys! I've got a stack of GameShark and GameShark Pros for the Gameboy Color/Pocket. They all boot to a blank blue/green screen. No amount of cleaning them works.

Is there someone with the techincal know-how to fix these? What's the issue?

good question you would problably need a windows xp computer to do it. im just guessing that they are updatable since action replays were updatable. (the ds one was updatable)  it could also be a bad corupted code list. if it has a battery, replace it.

  • Doing a quick search, I found the below thread where someone was trying to flash/update a working unit which includes (perhaps included, I'm at work so I didn't click the links) copies of the last software update for those units as well as a scan of one of the codebooks. Good luck!

Hmm the file links seem dead, but I bet I could ask on those forums as they seem to know that stuff well! Thanks for the info!

I'll update here if I ever get them reflashed with how to do it!
