Well it finally happened, someone died from swatting
Remember swatting? That thing some found funny to call the police on an innocent streamer? Well someone just died from it.

Two CoD players (who were teammates) argued over a 1.50 wager, and one gave a fake address "to do something about it". The address was real and the man who died didn't play video games.

So many millennials think that shit is funny.
I wonder if they think going to JAIL and getting a lifetime rap sheet is at all funny?
wouldn't it be easier to call them stupid kids?
Then he wouldn't feel as superior as he does.

I'm thinking of young adults that should be old enough to know better.
I just cant believe people are this stupid
The idiot gamer called 911 or the police, and told a lie. Can he be held responsible for the murder/manslaughter?
It sounds like, at this point (we obviously don't know all the facts) that some police officer got trigger happy and killed the 28 year old. In this case, would the police officer be guilty of manslaughter and the idiot gamer an accessory to murder? I don't know. I do know that the gamer, whatever his/her age should get the maximum penalty possible. I'm tired of young idiots getting away with murder, or feeling that they can. This is a bit off-topic, but more idiots:

Yeah, heard about this, absolutely stupid gamers beyond belief. Still, the real question is what exactly happened and who is responsible?

That's the crap that's been ticking me off a lot when I think about it. Moronic kids killing random people for no reason at all. Even if they get 20 years or whatver, the victims lose thier lives for nothing. Completely ridiculous.
I don't personally see why people find it funny in the first place.
Hopefully the swatter gets the biggest serving of karma in the form of prison.
Making false 911 calls is, in itself, illegal. No?
Keemstar interviewed the kid who made the call
I had to cut it off. I can't stand hearing that SWATter guy talk.
Cop is going to be a wreck over it too killing a person that did nothing but open the door. The murderer (swatter) should get life to set an example with swatting.
Oh grow up defaultgen, you weren’t there and in no way understand the dynamics of a high stress incident. Millenials love to jump on Police too I guess
Considering you also were not there, you are pretty quick to just assume this man wasn't hastily killed with no cause and give the cop a pass for murdering someone.
These are paid professionals that are supposed to be able to handle "high stress" situations and appropriately make the right calls. They went to this persons house, based on a phone call with no other recon or information, and immedatiately opened fire on him a few seconds after he opened his door. I am really not too sure how many ways you can spin this in the favor of the cop. Maybe a better video will come out, but with what we have, it doesn't look good for the cop. Fake report or not.
Even the mother is placing blame on the police and not the moron who called in the fake report. Unless this guy made some quick suspicious movement when he opened the door, there is just about no scenario i can think of where a cop would need to shoot him dead the way they did.
Either way, a tragic loss, because some idiot decided to make a fake call over a video game. I hope he gets life in prison.
People should stop living their lives on social media.
You’re better than victim blaming.

The victim had nothing to do with the online gamers. One guy gave the wrong address to another.

He is completely right. An innocent person died. Its because of some ignorant fuck mad at a video game and Some hot shot pulling the trigger for no reason.
I like to give police benefit of the doubt but this is one of the cases where someone fucked up terribly and killed an innocent person. That's horrible.

I don't think its too much to ask that cops be trained to stay cool under that kind of pressure. Especially as they were under the assumption there were innocent hostages in the house as well as a shooter. The cop could've just as easily shot a hostage if that were a real situation.
