I have been procrastinating aboot selling for quite sometime and now I have taken the leap.

I contacted a guy recently and he offered me $9000 for everything. I was hoping for $10000

    Personally, I look at it like this - you've been offered just under 80% on a LOT of games that average $20 CAD each. 10 games over $100 out of 560 games. Not to say it's a bad collection by any means, but at the very least assuming they're reselling most of it, they're not likely to make back the difference quickly by any means. I think it's probably about the best percent of value I'd expect for a lot that big, especially if they're local and picking up. You avoid PayPal and eBay fees, as well as shipping.



    I think it's a fair deal to be rid of it all in one fell swoop. You could always ask them to meet you in the middle at $9500 if you're comfortable doing so.

    id quickly take the 9000 if the offer is still available. thats a really high offer. %80 retail? that leaves almost no meat on the bone. its a great offer

    GVN shows US prices though, doesn't it? So the value of 11kUSD would be ~13600CAD. I assume the offer is $9000CAD, or only 66% of the value. Still not a bad offer by any means. If it is actually 9k offer on 11k CAD, then absolutely go for it.

    Ah, completely missed the small asterix mentioning prices are in CAD.  Good to know GVN has that function!

    I looked at how GVN priced things and I think he is offering more than this collection is actually worth if you sold everything separetely and above retail.

    That offer is a no brainer and you should take it.

    Even if he changed his mind and says sorry I made a mistake I will only give you $7000, you should still take it.

    With such close thoughts in value (him and you), I'd take it tbh. Gets rid of everything in one fell swoop to boot.
