Yea I was big into it like 6 years ago and have a decent spread. I bought a boxed Castle Grayskull and Snake Mountain....and I bought a bunch of loose figures in great shape with all their weapons. But now they are all in a box!
I have been collecting for a couple of years, but slowed down as I have the main core characters and castle Grayskull, but I do look out for the rarer figures, my focused has changed over more to video games specially NES carts.
I would like to someday get into GI-Joes 80s figures.
I think I may still have an entire box of these in storage. I'm not a collector, just had tons of them as a kid. I haven't thought about them in probably a decade. I'll have to take a look and see if they're still in the storage unit.
Not a collector beyond the bag full of MoTU action figures at my parents house.
They were my go-to impulse buy, for awhile, as a kid when we went to the mall or the toy store.
(the battle beasts came out and they took precedence, since they came in packs of two so my sister and I could "split them")
Yeah battle beasts were awesome. I had the belt you could wear with all them attached around your waist. My kids love pokemon and they kinda remind of battle beasts a little bit. I had all that stuff in my mom's garage, he-man, transformers, voltron, you name it. I told her to sell it all a couple years back during a garage sale and she ended up making a few hundred bucks. I did the Craigslist ad for her and she had mouth breathers lined up at like 6am on a Saturday knocking on her door to by the stuff early.
If there was any toy I'd collect other than video games it'd be MOTU. But I don't want to dedicate space to it so I never got into them. Still have the bag of toys at my parents house, and about 50 of the loose comics (that came with the toy) in my dresser.

Never had the Battle Beast belt.
Though I did have most of the micro-machines-like army man sets, where they were "wearable" components that broke down into forts for the tiny little army men.
Like there was a giant wrist-watch/compass that opened up into a fort.
There was a handgrenated to sprung open and shot out a dune buggy.
And the big deal was the M-16 that broke down into like 4 or 5 major parts to make a huge base.
(butt stock, barrel, magazine, etc, all broke out into their own subcomponents)
it was nuts... AND I don't remember the barrel being orange, at all. (must have had that thing in the '88 timeframe, based on what house/yard I remember playing with it the most)
So I guess Go-Bots are like Hydrox cookies! BTW Scooter and Bumblebee and Soundwave were my favorites at the time. Hee hee I'd see a VW Beetle and be all like, hey there's a bumblebee! And look what they were able to get away with at the time!

I have most of those comics but im still missing some.
I have bought and sold them. Does that count? Got a snake mountain (missing pieces of course) for 4 bucks lol. The rubber bands in the motu figures are horrendous most of the time. Hard to find ones that stand normally in good shape and not loose.
I replace the rubber bands in the legs, I know some collectors frown on that because its not all original but I still swap them out so they can stand, I buy them because I like the figures not because I want to sell them.
Not since I was kid, but I just watched the He Man ep on that Toys that Made Us Netflix series. Such a cool look at the history and current state of the market. I'm sure it's dumbed down, but I still enjoyed it.

I've watched several of these Netflix shows also. It's a great look at the history! The fact that He-Man was actually modeled after a real guy who worked out is funny.
I was way into He-Man as a kid. I had Man-E-Faces, Battleclash He-Man, Ram-Man, Skeletor, Moss Man, Snake Mountain, and the Slime-pit. Also He-man bed sheets

I don't collect the figs but did pick up the Sideshow Statues and they do look amazing.
Big fan of MotU. In fact, the live action movie is one of my top 10 movies just for the nostalgia it brings.

Those statues are fantastic but that price is too steep for my pockets.
And of course they too just had to do PSAs

Being born in 1980, I wasn't a He-Man fan...I was more into Go-Bots (don't laugh) and Dukes of Hazzard at the time

Here you go.

Both He-man and Thundercats are my jam. I actually have a display case full of them... might show some pics when I get home from work.
Had a lot of fun with my then-3-yo daughter watching all four seasons of Thundercats on Amazon streaming.

I want to get back into it. I haven't seen it since... well, since the 80s. lol
I wonder how good the newer series is.

I don't remember seeing a newer Thundercats?
The new Voltron is pretty great, though (on Netflix). We've watched all of those together as a family.
