I think the best answers to that can be gleaned from just reading through the thread, it’s all kind of been said already

  • I couldnt get a sense of it. What a waste of money

It's one of a kind, unlike some video games that go for a lot.

But you really don't have to shit on his thread like that.

Just because you see it as a waste of money, doesn't mean it is a waste to someone else. I don't understand why people feel the need to go out of their way to crap on someone like this. This couldn't be kept to yourself?? Just HAD to tell him he was wasting his money?

Big ticket one of a kind items like this, have big ticket prices.

you realize you're going to have to deal with the guy you just insulted, if you really want to complete your sealed NES set

  • If someone doesn't understand something, what benefit do they get for insulting those who do?

My intent was to help the other arguement. You want something for so long then when you get it it's not that great. How about hiring 2 people that are unemployed? what a much better alternative than something someone drew on paper

That explains your question. (what about it makes it worth that much to you? )

But it doesn't explain your inslult.  (I couldnt get a sense of it. What a waste of money)

So my question remains, what benefit did you receive from your insult to the OP?  What did it accomplish?

I don't see how the bold part relates at all to what you said or the conversation.

And you collect sealed games correct? So why not donate all the money you spent on all of those sealed games, which i bet is probably quite the amount of thousands if you collect sealed NES, to hire unemployed people? What a much better alternative than collecting old video games sealed in plastic you can't even play and will just sit displayed on a shelf.

Telling people how they could better spend their money is just silly, and reducing a one of a kind painting to "something someone drew on paper" is equally as silly.

Just leave the thread okay?   Or I'll ask another moderator to remove you from it.
  • Yes, this isn't the thread for it. If you want to post a thread discussing collectibility of art then do it elsewhere, thanks.

  • My favorite ad along these lines from back in the day was Tom Vu. Anybody else remember him?    He was Prestige Worldwide before there WAS a Prestige Worldwide.

It needs to gain a little traction to become better spoken of, then that may start popping potential leads out of the woodwork.
