Recording using a Digi003 Rack and Windows 10

Hi all,

I am looking to start podcasting with a friend of mine who is across the country and I was looking for some help getting started. My old intel Mac has a faulty HDD and all of my recording software (Logic, PT7, Reason, etc) were on there and I have no means of transferring any licenses. I bought my Mac (and Digi 003 rack) secondhand and never received the authorization code for Pro Tools. I have the installation discs and .pdf guides, but no physical book with an authorization code. I was considering getting Pro Tools | First, but the 3 project limitation is keeping me from diving into that. That and the other issue that I only have a windows 10 PC laptop or a OSX 10.5.8 (which I tried to install PT7 on but could not locate the code after). I would like to use the Digi 003 since I still have it and barely used it but I don't know how I would go about installing the drivers on Windows 10 and making it work with PT|First or Audacity (something about ASIO drivers... but I don't have a recent version of PT on disc).

I am essentially looking for help in getting my Digi 003 running on my Windows 10 machine, with a firewire-USB connection (although I am afraid I will fry my Digi003), and running on either Pro Tools | First or Audacity (preferably).

If anyone, here, has some insight, feel free to throw it my way.

Thanks!
