  • Are you using a Sega AC Adaptor? My model one is very selective with power adaptors. With non-Sega adaptors it will do like you are having happen, or it will play for a bit and freeze.
  • Did it come with a Japanese power supply? If it's an old power supply with a heavy linear transformer (instead of a modern switching mode power supply), then it probably expects 100 volts input and any difference in the input voltage will result in the wrong output voltage. What AC mains voltage do you have in Iceland?
  • No, it avtually didnt come with the jap. Ac adapter.. i am using a universal one 100-220v.

I think i have the genesis one somewhere..

Main ac volt here in iceland is 200-240v.
  • universal ACs sucks get your self an OEM and use that. the universals are known to have issues
  • It might also be a problem with your TV signal, not all televisions are universal when you are importing games.
  • Seconding on getting a more legit power supply. I tried using a Sega M1 3rd party power supply on my Sega Cd and made loading slower.
