Cube Shelving For Trinitron

Im just wondering if there is a cube shelving unit that can handle the weight of a 36" Trinitron on top of it....I see em in pics online sitting on these units, but every one I research has a weight limit of roughly 50 pds on top of it....I guess I could build one myself, but just wondering if there is a common one that works that Im not aware of....Thanks

    There's not a lot of things in today's world is built for heavy stuff. You'd probably have to build your own. Although cheaper, I'd suggest not buying spruce and use something a lot more solid like southern yellow pine or oak. Spruce is good for media or small book shelves.



    You could use an old console TVs. Y'know, the ones that need at least 3 people to move, and if the tube goes out, most people put their new TVs on top of it?   But seriously, those things are built like tanks and can support a lot of weight. Maybe buy one with a busted tube, gut-out the insides and make it into shelving.
