To be correct, the game is mega rare but the box is ultra rare.

there's like 1 public sale of this in the last 10 years? if that? it's basically impossible to say. if one comes up for sale the value is going to be decided by the person with the most money to throw at it.

I know someone was trying to sell me one for $10,000 I believe jp Rex was trying to sell his at $16,000... so I would guess under 5 figures. But I am generally interested in where people value this.
Sales dont matter on stuff like this, sellers market. You either pay the ask or you dont own it. Having said that, what's the price of the most valuable CIB in the retail set? MB SR maybe 4k or so? FF Black would be rarer but variants are more niche and some people will write them off. I'd say about 1.5x most valuable CIB in the set, so maybe 6k to 6.5k. Anything higher and I'd much rather be the seller than the buyer in that deal.
True but the flip side is that its a rare piece on a game/franchise that people actually care about. That doesn't happen very often.
Still, I like the 6500 estimate for a cib. Maybe 10k these days as a floor on a sealed.
