How many people have complete licensed NES collections?
My wife asked me last night, and I told her I would post the question
an see. Also do you consider having the Stack up pieces and the Piano
part of the "set" or just accessories? Some consider just having the
carts and others say you must have the pieces as well as the carts.
I am sorry if this has been asked before. I searched and couldn't find a topic.

and no i dont consider the piano part of the set.
at this point, i dont know who has complete cib collections anymore... erik, dain, dream, portnoyd (i think), anyone else?
I've got all the boxes except for Stadium Events and Myriad, both of which I am perfectly happy without. (Well, not perfectly happy, but happy enough).
Still missing 100 manuals or something, but I don't care that much to actively track them down. I do have a list, but my collecting for it is very passive.
I don't anticipate ever owning a SE or Myriad, any part, unless it comes on the cheap, or my get rich quick scheme pays off.
Mason,
To answer your question I believe only myself and DreamTR have complete CIB collection of NES, both licensed and unlicensed. I do consider the Piano (CIB) to be part of the set since there is a cart, box, and manual. Racermate I'm on the fence but I do have it all except the metal pole thing to connect it to the bike. Wilson (DreamTR) and I collect differently though as I have well over 1,000+ NTSC Nes with all the variations, I collect them all, he doesn't. But then he has a sh*t ton of protos and I don't. Hope this answeres your wife's question.
glad to see you finally join
and yeah, brave heart has the most bad ass collection here in my opinion.
or from what i can see so far.

I have a fully CIB licensed set minus SE box. I am missing the 3 Panesians and Myriad now for an unlicensed set.

So if we had to put a number on it what would it be? I guess you could start off by figuring out who has Stadium Events right? Going by the list on "Collectors Corner" the site says 23 people own it. Now of course that assumes they completed their collections (loose or CIB).Now I we know not everybody that has a complete set is registered here, let alone put their name on the list, but what numerical guesstimate do you think we could come up with? I am referring to the NTSC collection.
That's just it Mason... if you are talking Cart only collection then yes alot of people could get there assuming they have a Stadium Events the only other super tough cart to get would be Myriad. And if you are talking about licensed only then really the only hard hard to get is SE cart. But even that I would say there are 50 of floating around to be had from time to time with 1-5 popping up for sale every year. The manual there are less than 10 of around. The box maybe 5 or 6 of these are even around and most of them are known about, granted you are right not everyone who collects is on NA, but we invite them to join!
sealed SE = 2 to my knowledge with a possible sealed case as an addition
