Setzer wasn't late 90's swing (though he did guest star on some songs during that period, but nothing mainstream), but he did have a little bit of a comeback in the early 2000's. Most of the good stuff by Setzer was in the 70's and 80's. He did release an album in the early 90's, but I don't think there's anything notable on it.
Was late 90's swing even really a thing? Lou Bega had Mambo No. 5, Cherry Poppin Daddies just had a pervy name that everyone remember (I can't think of a song by them), and I never heard of the other.

Setzer wasn't late 90's swing (though he did guest star on some songs during that period, but nothing mainstream), but he did have a little bit of a comeback in the early 2000's. Most of the good stuff by Setzer was in the 70's and 80's. He did release an album in the early 90's, but I don't think there's anything notable on it.
Was late 90's swing even really a thing? Lou Bega had Mambo No. 5, Cherry Poppin Daddies just had a pervy name that everyone remember (I can't think of a song by them), and I never heard of the other.

I still stand by "was late 90's swing really a thing"? I don't mean people hated it or didn't like it, but it wasn't a huge thing - at least around here. The only people I knew who knew who Brian Setzer and the like were folks over 35 and people into music. And, well, that pretty much still stands today ha!
