    Hmmm.... This is my interpretation of the back:



    It's a "walkthrough" of the second level. It shows that Mario has to go down a (red) pipe and then fight bad guys(?).



    Looks like someones head is getting smushed in the underworld.



    Perhaps one goomba is getting jumped on while the other runs away.
