Yeah that was fast! They should not do 2 quantity per person. Damn I confused myself with that timezone and missed out on the first batch. Now, have to wake up early on a Sunday to get it. *sigh*

2nd batch hits in under 3hrs
  • Hopefully I'll be able to scoop one this time. I reply didn't think they would sell out like that. I know r-type is popular but dayum.

Still 45% left after 5 mins. You snag one?
  • Got it! Did not get any art cards though. Added it and already was sold out. Ah well, not important.
  • Nice! Yeah. I never go for the cards on LRG or elsewhere.
  • I got one too. I was mad I missed on FnF, and Velocity 2x didn't really appeal to me, but I'm stoked about this one!
  • Still trying to catch up on this thing.  Too many releases and too many exclusives and too many changing dates

    Cancelled:

  • ^ Damn good job though!

Hollow Knight NEEDS to happen...I am still keeping hope things change as it deserves a physical
  • It will eventually. Guys like LRG would throw money at it, and the only reason they'd be turned down is if they were hoping to get a full release through Nicalis or whoever
  • Anyone picking up Remilore tomorrow?

The materials and ergonomics feel perfect and very "OEM", it really makes the Switch feel like one solid piece. No loose areas, no joycon creaking, no bulky profile. The handles feel exactly like pro controller handles. If you're looking for a grip for your Switch it's hard for me not to be a total shill for this one, you should consider getting one. Customizable grip colors too, wife got one with neon red handles and they match the joycons perfectly. Bigtime thumbs-up from me.

Does it fit in the dock? And do you have a link?

Just got mine in today and its pretty sweet, it did fit the dock as well but doesn't just "drop" in I had to align it just right but didn't seem too snug of a fit to me. I really like it though.

I just got the shipping notice for my preorder of it. It was one of the last things I grabbed when I still had GCU. It'll be way down a list though. No idea when I'll be able to try it

The only talk of it has been to re-confirm that it is not happening anywhere other than Play-Asia. It's an EastAsiaSoft release, so the chances of it coming out with an ESRB rating are about the same as they've been for their previous releases, RXN Raijin, Shikhondo and Dimension Drive: Zilch. If you want a physical copy of Oniken & Odallus, Play-Asia is the only way to go.

By the way quick spoiler alert, both games are very "meh" tributes to the 8-bit era. I would say "love letters to the 8-bit era", but these arent love letters, they're more like.....pleasant but perfunctory postcards to the 8-bit era. But y'know, Nintendo tells me how to spend my money so I got a copy like a good subservient fanboy with no mind of his own anyway.

Thanks for the info. I just ordered the standard edition for $27 and free shipping after a $3-off coupon I found online.

Cool — I ordered one the other day as well and am looking forward to trying it out.

Edit: I was talking about the Skull & Co. GripCase, not Remilore! Sorry!

  • RE 1 and Zero collection also confirmed for May physical release. Probably rules out RE4.

The Escapists 2 saw a physical retail release back in October (I believe). I bought my copy from Best Buy in December. I love the art style, but found the gameplay to be a chore more than anything else -- almost like being in prison!

RE 1 & Zero are getting a physical release but not RE4? Lame... Still I figured none of them were getting a physical release so I guess at least having 1 & Zero physical is nice. I just don't understand what determines what games get physical releases or not. I'd much rather have RE4 physical and RE1 and Zero digital, if I had to choose (obviously everything physical if I had the choice)

Even worse, the physical release of 0 + 1 has only 0 on the cart. RE1 is a download code.

If Capcom has no interest in doing a physical version of RE4, they should just hand it over to Limited Run and have them do a couple week run.  They'd without a doubt sell a ton of copies.  Pipe dream I guess.

Please, I don't need any more copies of Resident Evil 4.

Ugh, you're joking. Again with this half download BS? Come on Capcom... this honestly makes me not want to support them on Switch. I decided if that's how it's going to be then I'm not going to waste my money and buy games I already played physically. The thing that annoys me is that they can easily fit these games on one cartridge but they're being cheap and choosing not to. :-/

That would be a good one. Saints row 4 is quite close to 3 so i wonder if that one will get a port aswell.

Why, I've only got like 8 of them in my collection already. What's another 5 or 6?

What pisses me off is that they could (A) release each game separately physically, or (B) release the collection as a 2-cartridge set and charge a bit more accordingly. I'd be more prone to re-buy all of them that way. Now I'm a bit on the fence about that collection - and I'm a huge RE fan.
