RE 1 and Zero collection also confirmed for May physical release. Probably rules out RE4.
RE 1 & Zero are getting a physical release but not RE4? Lame... Still I figured none of them were getting a physical release so I guess at least having 1 & Zero physical is nice. I just don't understand what determines what games get physical releases or not. I'd much rather have RE4 physical and RE1 and Zero digital, if I had to choose (obviously everything physical if I had the choice)
Even worse, the physical release of 0 + 1 has only 0 on the cart. RE1 is a download code.
Ugh, you're joking. Again with this half download BS? Come on Capcom... this honestly makes me not want to support them on Switch. I decided if that's how it's going to be then I'm not going to waste my money and buy games I already played physically. The thing that annoys me is that they can easily fit these games on one cartridge but they're being cheap and choosing not to. :-/
What pisses me off is that they could (A) release each game separately physically, or (B) release the collection as a 2-cartridge set and charge a bit more accordingly. I'd be more prone to re-buy all of them that way. Now I'm a bit on the fence about that collection - and I'm a huge RE fan.
I feel exactly the same. Same as Revelations 1 & 2, and the Mega Man Collections. RE is one of my favorite franchises and I buy almost every single release and re-release in the series, I had Revelations Collection but eventually sold it because I just hated not having Revelations 2 on the cartridge. I think I'll have to pass on RE1 & Zero though... it kills me because I really wanted these in my collection when they were announced but my enthusiasm is now pretty much dead. If they were games I never played before I'd suck it up and do it, which is why I did get the Mega Man collections despite the half digital BS, since there were a few games, particularly X7 and X8, that I haven't really played and figured this was the easiest way to play them. As for RE4 they could charge a full $60 and I'd rebuy that, it's one of my favorite games of all time, and I say I won't buy it now, but I know down the line I will buy it digitally because I've wanted to play it on a portable for years.

I feel the same way especally over that insanely overpriced Bayonetta Climax Edtion that had a physical of 1 and 2, but what did we get 2 and a digital of 1.
I just picked up my Remilore at Gamestop and the manager told me he only received the 2 copies that were pre-ordered, the game has already been de-listed from their system, and the PS4 copies were cancelled making it a Switch physical exclusive.
Also, Target has Sega Genesis Classics on sale for $22.99.
I'm sure I will be. In before a bunch of dudes who LOVE the smell of their own farts come in and start hating, and then half of them go and buy it anyway. Enjoy the taste of your foot in advance if that's you lol.

Well, I do love the smell of my own farts. Who doesn't? I will be buying both because I'm THAT guy. I will probably play only one of them. I wonder if now is the time to admit that I have never palyed a Pokemon game before? Besides Go, that is...
I don't know if you guys know about the site Warned Collectors or not its another LRG type based in Europe they have 2 Switch titles set to release in May (which I had preordered seems forever ago) Pankapu and Dungeon Rushers. https://www.warned-collectors.com/
I nosed around on their twitter feed and apparently they are also releasing Switch titles in the future Shift Quantum, Zombie Night Terror, Shape of the World, Evoland 1&2 (I presume this is the Legendary Edition) and Furi
This site has not been around long I think they started up toward the end of 2018
It is for sure a Switch game. But no idea if it's 2019 or 2020
I sat and listened to a gal at a Gamestop try to sell me on buying Persona 5 one time for almost 30 mintues. She claimed it was the best game of all time. I listened that whole time and never got to tell her until the end that I don't own a PS4. LOL!

Oh, wait... were you asking me if Persona 5 is coming out for Switch? Totally different game. I would assume so, but nothing Atlus does makes any sense so who knows.

I saw that. Are any of those games any good?
To be honest with you I don't know as I never played either one except Furi (and it pisses me off playing it lol), I jumped on those first 2 physicals when I was going though a phase of nabbing anything limited/exclusive, they look intersting enough but I have also fallen for that before.

My bad. I knew Persona was a SMT series. I just assumed that's what you were talking about
so pre-orders for that RE Origins collection are up on Amazon and GS... it's $60... for just RE0 on cart and RE1 as download. $60. I think I paid $15 (new) for that same collection on Xbox One. I figured it'd be like $40 or something.

That's ridiculous. I got it on PS4 for $20. Well this just further seals the deal I won't be getting it.

I'll just wait for a Black Friday sale on it for $20 or something. Not going to pre-order it for sure.
That is kind of insulting. I guess Capcom is testing the waters more. First they skimped out on small games with Mega Man collections going well under the cart size needed to fit both, despite the cost of those cards they could have used being no more expensive than running the blu rays that do have both of the collection on it. Then they went with the RE Revelations thing again for the same reason though they are larger so it could have been a cost deal they could have just done the old switch tax on but cut it and leveled the price. This time you have something that would fit, and without going nuts, yet they're jacking up the price to a full new retail game and you're only getting half and a piece of paper.
Wrote an email to Capcom expressing our feels about their stupid half assed Switch releases and quoted a few of you in it. Probably won't help but at least they hear its fuckin dumb from people who want to buy their games.

Just wait for a price drop. That is a game that will NOT be difficult to find 6 months down the road.

I'll be picking up both, as is tradition.

Hell yeah! I think it looks great! I'll be getting Shield. Only decision now is which starter to choose... hmm....
Depends on when Shin Megami Tensei 5 comes out. Still haven't played a Pokémon since SMT always gets priority
Is that confirmed coming out?
So, who is buying Pokemon Sword and/or Shield?
I'll def get one of them.
