Has anybody else seen a new game sealed with shrink wrap by the manufacturer instead of the standard "folded seal" wrap? I've encountered two of these so far -- Project Highrise from Amazon and Spintires Mudrunner from Walmart. Both appear to be legit new/sealed copies. Just a bit unusual.
Shrink wrap lasts about 1.2 seconds time I get a hold of it. only differences I notice is with the cases, US ones all seem to be indented on the right side edge more than they are on imported cases.
Just in case anyone is curious, Dragon's Dogma is getting like 3 diffrent releases in Japan two of which I don't see shit if the US is getting one and if the past releases of cool shit tells us anything it probably won't happen.
The one pictured is the 2nd one down for around $50, then the 3rd being the normal $30 release which is the same as what we are to get here in the US. then there is one being a overly expensive ($250+ because of a damn necklace) version.
From what I am reading and seeing the JP version is multi language which includes English. Also do bear in mind there is nothing special about the game itself it is a direct port and only think that I can say makes this version a bit better is portability.
Oh April 25th is the release...think the US stated the 23rd

Most of the Capcom games released in Japan have had English language options. Okami was entirely in English.
Anyone who was watching the Chained Echoes Kickstarter, Switch physical was reached
I'm tempted to back, especially since they're offering a physical copy plus digital for $65 shipped worldwide. Two and a half years is kind of a long wait for a game though, and if the PS4 version stretch gets reached at $100k (which it seems like it is) I feel like it's just one more thing that could delay production and prevent this awesome looking game from coming out right. Or maybe I've been watching too much Slope's Kickstarter videos.

I can see that. I've been burned by Kickstarter so much but I keep going back. Lol! One day I will lesrn my lesson. This one looks really good, though.
LRG has also said they will be announcing one of these games next:
Stardew Valley
Bastion
Transistor
Night in the Woods
Hat in Time
Firewatch
Bloodstained Curse of the Moon
Unless I missed another title. I'd hope for SV or BCotM.
Man, I really don't hit me with the Bastion re-release... I just picked that up from them on the Vita. Stardew/Transistor/Bloodstained would make me so happy though!

Please be Curse Of The Moon. I bought it digitally on Xbox One when it first came out, and have since wanted to play it on Switch but I don't really want to buy it digitally twice. Been holding out hope for a physical release.

I hope its curse since ritual comes out later and by the time LRG ships them out they would come out around the same time.

Personally gonna be picking up Gungeon, Hat in Time, and Bloodstained for sure, possibly Transistor/Bastion. All of which will be double-dips lol
They didn't announce all of those. They said on Twitter that their next release would make people really excited. Then, on Reddit, where several people were speculating, one of the LRG guys said in that thread that the correct answer had been guessed in that thread but didn't say which one it was. It was a tease.

Still hoping its the next release tho. Be a neat follow up to R-Type

Play Asia March 7th...or "soon" as apparently one side had a date and the other side shows pre-orders hadn't opened yet.

Yeah sorry that was misleading. One (and only one) of those will be announced, we just don't know which one
