I've never played a D&D game, very excited for these!
I've played through BG, BGII, and Icewind Dale multiple times, and a portion of the way through Planescape. Amazing games (BGII is in my top 10, BG my top 25). But they are older games that were intended to be played with a mouse so they may not be for everyone. Did you ever play Dragon Age? I consider that a spiritual BG3

Had to look that one up, so I have not. KoToR was probably the closest (and newest) that I have gotten to this type of game maybe (saw Bioware and action-RPG when I looked up Dragon Age)? I have had BGII on the shelf for a long time, I just haven't played the PS2 much. The portability of the Switch makes it a better choice at this point in life. Planescape is one that I have wanted to play for many years, but never had a comfortable setup.
I will end up with these but I was expecting an Icewind and Icewind Dale 2 as a pack, wonder if this means more may come in the future and I wouldn't mind Neverwinter Nights 2 as well.

Fyi I've played BG on a tablet with a stylus and it actually wasn't bad at all. I think it will play well on Switch.

The BG games on PS2 were totally different. Action RPG dungeon crawling types. Still fun though.
Baldur's Gate - huge epic old school western RPG with a great story and a great turn-based/real-time hybrid combat system, that is tough as nails
Baldur's Gate II - even huger, epic-er, old school western RPG with another great story
Icewind Dale - BG spinoff that is more combat-oriented
Icewind Dale II - haven't played it, but I assume more of the same
Planescape Torment - same engine, but in a different D&D campaign, and more story-oriented. I only got a dozen hours into it, but people swear by this gmae
Dark Alliance - action RPG that basically shares no similarities with any of those games
Dark Alliance II - ditto
Fallout BoS - a Fallout version of Dark Alliance
Neverwinter Nights - never played this, but I know the emphasis was more on the ability to mod or DM your own games and campaigns
Neverwinter Nights 2 - never played this either
Dragon Age - basically Baldur's Gate III, with a very similar type of combat engine that mixes real-time and turn-based, with another huge campaign and epic story
I haven't played any of the new stuff either (new Planescape, Pillars of Eternity I & II, etc.), but if you like any of those I imagine you'll like these games
KoTor could be a seen as in the same vein, just very much stripped down and simplified. Not to say that I didn't love that game too, but it's shares more with Mass Effect than it does the games that precedeed it.
Super Rare Games are pre-selling Machinarium next Thursday.
AC Skywalker hasn't been online for a little while. Has anyone else taken on the responsibility of maintaining the first post? If so, can the list of SRG games be updated, please? Missing titles are;
Hey I'm back after a long much needed hiatus. I'll get back to editing stuff tomorrow (our all day today). Tomorrow's duty is editing the list and cutting the grass
I'm kind of pissed at the pricetag for Power Rangers. Why is that game $60?
I would presume that has to do with Sabans License fee, almost feels like when Tatio does a release its high as shit. But I am not too keen on that price tag either. $40 maybe not $60 and fuck $90 for some coins or whatever that is supposed to be.

Who is excited for today? I can't watch the direct until I get home tonight. Hoping for a surprise or two.
I'm in the same boat. Can't watch until later. Really hoping for a couple things. I know they said there will be no hardware news but I'd love to see a tease about the rumored new models.

That steelbook will hook several people.
Thanks for updating it. Decided to redo some shelves to fit all the dang collector boxes in one place.
Damn, that is so awesome! Really need something like that as right now I am so overwhelmed with the collector editions and their different sizes.
Who is excited for today? I can't watch the direct until I get home tonight. Hoping for a surprise or two.
I have some more updating to do.
