  • If I get Mario Maker 2, do I have to make levels or can I just endlessly play other levels? Do I need to type in the code to play or can I just continuously play random levels? Are a lot of them impossibly difficult or lame? I only want to buy it if I can just play great new levels without any hassle.

There is a “story mode” that has somewhere north of 80 or so levels (maybe more Im not done it yet).  Most aren’t too difficult but they are addictive.

the online they literally have “endless mode” where they give you a set amount of lives and you play until you have none left.  That comes in easy, normal, hard or expert.  I think these are all user created.  Easy is too easy and I couldn’t even pass the expert one I tried, it kicked my butt.

You can also search by “popular”, “new” and stuff like that.  It is literally endless Mario Bros.

Sold. I had $75 Amazon money I was looking to spend.
  • should add though to play endless and versus mode and search courses you need to have switch online. its 20 for a year. I got the mario maker bundle for 10 more for a year. I hate paying for online but at 80 cents a month its not even noticeable.

I started that section by saying “the online” but you are correct I should have highlighted that you have to pay for online (I shouldn’t assume everyone has it)

If anyone is interested in any game Dispatch is doing, wait until it hits retail. Do not pre-order from them.  Look up how they handled the Psyvariar Delta game to understand why
  • I am actually still waiting for that game, its suppposed to be released this week I think. What is the issue with them? I googled it but couldnt find any news or information?

Can't argue that point after the Psyvariar Delta mess. They make it sound like Radirgy Swag is a Dispatch site exclusive for the US/EU for the physical otherwise its digital only but its not real clear if that is ment with the LE one or all of them as I see nothing (yet) about a retail release.

and speaking of Psyvariar Delta, according to twitter (as of today 7/4) the games have left assembley and are in transit to the shipping warehouse so maybe come Monday they will start going out been one hell of a wait on this one. https://twitter.com/DispatchGames

just posted a bit just about this a post earlier, but I think there was some inner office turmol at dispatch as all went silent for the longest then all the sudden after May 6th we got an apology on FB and email and since then now are getting proper updates and such probably won't know the full extent of the story but you can seem to tell "something" had gone on by reading the twitter and there was a merge with city connection announced shortly after. I really do think Dispatch is making a good effort at redeeming themselves tho, IMO anyway.
  • What does everyone want to do with the physical cases that have no game card included? I think Super Putty Squad is one (and a few others I think came out too). Wolfenstein Youngblood Deluxe has the same banner on the case "no game card included".

So they have tangible releases at retail stores, but aren't physical copies. Thoughts? Maybe list them and then put in brackets "(case and digital code only)" or something like that?

Edit: Added the download code games to the upcoming list for now.

Note - Release date of Enter the Gungeon shows 7/16 on amazon.ca but 8/6 on amazon.com
  • first big box collector of sonic mania, fortnite deep freeze, best buy hollow knight box with plush were all no game card just code. I think if they were released retail not just fan made cases you can buy on ebay they should go on the list with the note (case and digital code only).

I personally dont think they should be apart of any list any more than any other eshop game. Whats the difference between these releases and just buying any old code card from the store? Just the case? That doesnt make it particularly special to me

  • I dunno about Corpse Killer but Transistor was amaaaaazing when I played it on PS4:

On LRG in just under an hour.
  • For all you Visual Novel fans:

Glad I didn't order the JP version. This news came out today and the JP orders started shipping this week. Kinda shitty timing.

It kind of blends Diablo style movement with a bit of tactics.

  • It got rave reviews so I'm considering it. Though I barely remember anything about my playthrough of Bastion back in the day.
  • It's worth a playthrough but nothing earthshattering about it IMO, felt the same with Bastion as well.
  • Speaking of LRG, if anyone has a bloodstained curse of the moon limited edition that is unopened and they regret buying then let me know.
