France SNES Official Scart Cable 8 Leads?

I found an official Nintendo SNES scart cable on eBay from France. It came in the mail yesterday and only has 8 leads in it. I think that technically should be fine, but I was wondering if this was the standard for the French version and if there is any difference compared to the UK version which had more leads in the pics that I’ve seen.
