VGA 10% Off Submissions through April 10th 2019
Saw this in their newsletter and figured I'd share. VGA discounts on submissions are basically unheard of so good time to take advantage if you were on the sidelines at all. Last submission I did also beat their turnaround time (surprising!) so maybe they are trying to make some improvements with the new competition in grading.

Question is, does a 10% discount move the needle for collectors deciding which service to choose? If you're in the mode of authenticating games, you are already putting additional investment over and above the cost of acquiring the games themselves, so what does 10% one way or another matter at that point?
The challenge VGA faces right now is not a challenge of cost, it is a challenge of legitimacy. I don't have a dog in the fight one way or another, and I only know so much based on what I have read about here. But, the long term viability of VGA's video game grading business is being directly questioned within the small niche that they operate in, and this looks like a desperate and weak move. What they REALLY need to do is to totally transform their grading system and transparency to better match what WATA are doing, and perhaps hire some well-known and renowned expert collectors to help them grade. THAT would go a lot further than a measly 10% discount on a questionably valued service.
I think WATA should offer 15% off!
Their PRGE 2018 10% off code worked for like 4 months after PRGE
Thanks for this Jone. I've been waiting for WATA to add Gameboy to their selection, but I might just send them in to VGA because of this discount.
As far as I know, WATA has plans for this, but they are waiting on the molds, which are coming in three phases over the next few months. GBA, at least, is in the next run, which should be pretty soon.
Though they have raised their prices overall since the last time I submitted (it's been a bit), so I'm less apt to use them.
