Posting Pictures of my Test Market sets

Hi Everyone

Here is the inside of Serial number 2411. I have lower serial numbers and will show them later.

If you look close you will see all 1985 date codes on the chips and also there is even one chip on the board that dates

from 1984.

Thanks

  • It's weird seeing a 2A03E in an NES. Normally they are 2A03G. Neat console though.
  • Here an Answer to the difference in the two Chips

    2A03E and the 2A03G

Also look at this site it talks about the Early NES using the 2A03E chips.

  • Show more early NES's!
  • interesting .....
  • Hi Everyone

I have notice a lot of people talking about having their early great NES consoles with the letters

    TM after entertainment.

Please take a look at the test market sets you do not see the letters TM after entertainment.

TM was Nintendo trade mark but I believe it did not take place till much later units.

Anyways I am not sure of the exact date Nintendo started placing TM on their consoles but you will never see a test market unit with those

    letters on it.

    Thanks
  • Good to know you've got our backs there, Sean buddy! I will certainly be more cautious of those fraudulently boasting their ownership of test market systems in future.
