Zelda Four Swords Anniversary Edition
This game came out on gba as a bundle with Link to the past. You need at least one link cable and another person to play with you. I never had an opportunity to play with someone.
In Sept 2011 for the 25th Anniversary of Zelda, Nintendo put it on the DSI shop as a free download. This version was modified so you could play it single player. Also had new content. Unfortunately, I didnt have a Dsi at that time and it was removed from the DSI shop after a few months.
In 2014 it was put out again to commemorate Link Between Worlds on the 3DS. Somehow I was unaware and missed it..
I really want this game! Do you think they will make it available again before 3DS reaches end of life?

they probably arent going to put it out again. The 3ds already is at the end of life
I'm sure Nintendo will put it on the switch, like everything else.
I played it on the gamecube, by myself. Definitely would have been better for multiple players. Lol
Until people start chucking others into hazards
Any idea why Nintendo released it and took it down? I remember being really bummed out I wasn't in the window to get it the first time it was put out digitally on 3DS. Was there some particular reason, or just Nintendo's weird business choices at work?
First time it was to celebrate Zelda’s 25th anniversary. The celebration has ended.
After that it was to promote link between worlds. I guess they Don’t need to promote the game anymore because sales have already tapered off

Not the same game though. The GameCube game is a lot grander in both scale and aesthetics, and is aptly called Four Swords Adventures.

Ya I guess I didn't realize that. Regardless, game would have been more fun with multiple people.
