Hey everyone. I've been trying to find out if Gyromite (NTSC release) exists with a real 72-pin board inside (i.e. without a famicom adapter inside). Anybody know for sure?
Most people I've seen here report the opposite. I think it just depends on luck. I'm sure if you offered, someone would trade you one for one of yours.
I'll check my local reseller first. They usually have a bunch of Gyromites. I'll bring my own scale to weigh one out from their pile. If that fails I'll put up a request for trade here on NA. Thanks.

I bring a scale to the flea market as well. Can't wait to find my own NES cart filled with synthetic drugs!
Guess I was just "lucky" since all four Gyromites that I currently have (mostly through bulk purchases over the years) have been with the adapter inside. Now I know what's what. Thanks everyone!!

Stack-Up is the only one that doesn't have a non-adapter variant.
Are these boards rare? I've been trying to get my hands on one but every single cart I've come across seems to have an adapter inside...
Thanks! Totally forgot about bootgod.

I've seen more without the famicom adapter.
I've also heard that the R.O.B. logo will have a slightly different shade of purple between the two, but I haven't verified that one.
These?
