Funny story about my recent pickup (Pikachu Statue)
TL;DR - I found a Pikachu statue in my backyard and now I don't know what to do with it
A couple weeks ago my wife and I are driving home after dropping my kids off at boxing practice. Their gym is less than a mile from my house. We take our usual route home, she's driving. Suddenly I spot something and immediately shout "stop the car!" She thinks we've run over some old lady or something and slams the brakes and looks over at me with terror on her face (probably, honestly i'm not even looking at her--i'm staring out the passenger window).
I mutter an apology, get out of the car, and walk up to the little corner building that's not even a half mile from my house. I get close enough to the window to confirm that I saw what I thought I saw--a Pikachu statue.
Now this building isn't a game store. It's not a store of any kind. It's an Odd Fellows Museum. I wont get into who the Odd Fellows are, suffice it to say they have f*ck-all to do with video games. I have no clue what this thing is doing here. I get back to the car and my wife is understandably confused and a little pissed. The proceeding conversation goes a little like this:
Her: WTF?
Me: It's a Pikachu statue!
Her: So?
Me: They're super rare!
Her: That thing has always been there you jackass!
So yeah apparently this freaking Pikachu statue has been sitting in an Odd Fellows museum like 5 blocks from my house for at least a couple years. I get the number to the museum, make several calls, my wife meets the dude, he says he got it like a decade ago from some garage sale, he says he's had the statue sitting in that window for at least 2 years because his building was a Pokemon stop for Pokemon Go. My wife pays the man and brings it home.
This thing is pretty rare. Story goes that Nintendo produced 250 these to be displayed at Pokemon Centers throughout the world. I've read that they're distribution was meant to coincide with the release of Pokemon Yellow. I don't know how acurate that info is that's just what I've read.
I originally bought it to sell it but honestly the thing is growing on me. I'm not sure what I'll do with it. I want some opinions.

...but that is another story.
that "Pikachu" is creeping me out,
also kind of look like it's doing a "heil Hitler" salute, no?
TLDR goes at the beginning. Putting it at the end sort of defeats its purpose.
Good point. Updated!

Fyi he's wrong. Putting it at the BEGINNING defeats it's purpose in this case. With it at the beginning people reading get the whole thing spoiled out of the gate.
Consider a tldr a summary. Your story here is just that - a STORY. Can you imagine if there was a short summary of Game of Thrones at the beginning of the first book?

They pretty much already spoiled it when they named the character after the German translation of Dark Father.
