Rearranging my bedroom and I have an issue
Gotta a bit of a problem. I’m rearranging my room so my bed faces my tv (which was on my dresser but now will be mounted on the wall). We’re moving the dresser to the side of the wall so there’s more room between the foot of the bed and the TV wall. Problem is I’m going to need some way to put a PS3/PS2 slim/switch with controllers and wires under or near the TV as those are the current systems hooked up to saidTV without extending at most 18 inches, MAYBE 24, so there’s plenty of walking room. Any good mountable shelves or shallower furniture stable units?

edit: you may be talking about console storage so sorry if I got confused.
I buy these from Amazon, they are adjustable and very shallow. I have the triple wall wide and the double wall wide if you want me to measure them for you. The base sticks out a little for stability though.

Yeah, I’m trying to store a PS2 and 3 and a switch with controllers under the tv.

I use the same one. Love it. But I am pretty sure I paid like $75 for it.

I was thinking of grabbing the quad but I am toying with building custom shelves.
Here is a link to one that is basically identical to mine:

They won't hold 500 pounds but should do the trick and offer partitioned shelves for other stuffz.

I took a look at the pictures you posted in the other thread. The shelves look good.

Yeah these are way better for games. I started out with the Ikea Billy's but they are way to deep to probably display games. They are better for other stuff.

I use shelves that are similar to the ikea Billy’s, same depth and built and small shelf riser on each shelf and get 2 rows of games on each shelf.
I have rather shallow shelving that I got a long time ago, it sticks out about a foot or less. It's a 9x9 box configuration, like tic-tac-toe. The top would confidently hold the PS3, while your switch and ps2 slim could probably fit on one of the shelves. Then the others could be used for media or whatever - just a thought.

How sturdy is the unit? I’ve had pressedcwood and laminated wood before.

The ones I got were ~$40 from Lowes a very long time ago. It looks identical to the Amazon one I linked. They are surprisingly very sturdy, and I say that understanding your concern. Mine are even stackable with wooden pins, I have 2 currently stacked up and then 2 side by side against a stairway. I have tons of stuff on them and they can hold quite a bit just on the top. I have systems stored in the shelfs themselves, and tons of game etc.. Now being a bigger guy I would never climb up it or sit on it, as it's not Oak Wood quality by any means. But, for a budget-friendly shelf, it honestly might work perfect for 2-3 systems and media etc.
But...now that you mention it, my ex-wife had a 9x9 shelf that was trash. I was scared to even move the thing it was not quality at all. I would have never put a system on that one.
Might not hurt to look at reviews of that one, or if really interested, maybe pop into your local Lowes to see if they have them.
