Sculptor's Cut with BB labels

Just picked up this boy off the bay. I waited and waited to find one just like this as I want nothing to do with Repro's and checking authenticity. Couple that with the fact that blockbuster doesn't exist and it has a store number on it... I found my dream copy! Even the sides of the cart are wrapped with the BB sticker as well making this thing essentially sealed. How cool is that?

What do you all think? I love the BB labels on BB exclusives personally.

  • I'm a fan of stickers as long as they're from old game stores and aren't totally sloppy. Gives the game a story. I really dig this copy of Sculptors Cut. Congrats!
  • Congrats! A quick google search shows this copy lived at a Blockbuster in Marietta Georgia.
  • I dig it. Nice piece of history!
  • Can you get the labels off?

    Haha, jokes. Nice one.
  • I agree, it looks awesome. A straight slice of video game history.

How did you google that? It was the first thing I tried and didn’t find anything conclusive.

  • I think the BB labels are nice to have TBH. I've had good luck just selling the cases.
  • Great pickup dude! Crazy how people's personal collecting tastes vary. I had so many chances at BB-sticker copies while searching for my copy of SC, but to me it had to be a clean minty cart or bust.
  • I am with OP on the vintage rental store stickers. They help me know that I am buying an authentic copy and not a repro.
  • Congrats! I personally enjoy the look of the rental stickers on my games. I think they're cool.
  • Rental store stickers are the only ones I leave on games.

Same here, finding a box/manual was a thrill and it took so long! The hunt was as cool as the having the game.
  • All I did was search “BlockBuster store #........” and it was the first result!
  • Well done.
