Nintendo Powerfest 94 hat Question, two different versions?

 I played in powerfest 94 and is one of my fondest gaming memories but my hat is long gone and ive wanted a new one for years. I have always been under the impression they were manufactured by BD&A and had a grey underbrim.  I recently camw across someone selling them but the are not manufactured by BD&A and they have a green underbrim.  I looked on ebay and found some similar that look very old, so it seems legit.  I asked the seller about them and they said they have a case of about 80 of them and that they helped run the events in 94 and that these were supplied by Nintendo 



Can anyone confirm that there were two different Powerfest hats?

    There were concerns about them being a repro, I don't follow clothes that much though.

    I do not personally like the green underbrim version with different tags. Also you can find them on Mercari for cheap. Not necessarily the determining factor either.

    Yeah i bought one cuz it was only $17. Figured regardless fake or real i could atleast check it out for that price. It does feel cheap but then again its from 1994. So its hard to tell. But i thought if anyone one could confirm it could be good to know cuz if these are fake theres about to be a lot of then floating around at these prices

    Heres the one i found on ebay that matches the ones being sold. This is clearly aged which makes me feel these might be legit.

    If it helps or not, I inherited years ago (in the later 90s) that very hat with the green under side to it from the original owner who had been from Texas at the time and moved to my area and he just gave me the thing as a gift. I hate that I can't find it but it went missing sometime in the 00s and likely got consumed into the mists of a move as I wouldn't misplace something like that.
