An ideal Mario/Sonic Crossover

I just had a thought of what would be an amazing crossover if Nintendo and Sega we're to make it. Keep it n mind I'm just a fan who's daydreaming about what would probably be an amazing game. A non Olympic games Mario/Sonic action platformer crossover. I'd say that if it's 3D Sonic should use the Adventure/Lost World gameplay, and Mario should use the 3D Land/3D World gameplay. If it's 2D I'd say Sonic should use the Sonic Advance gameplay and Mario should use, well the same gameplay he's always used in 2D, of course both would have to make some changes to accommodate the other, for Mario characters rings could behave like super mushrooms and for Sonic characters they could make forms and abilities for all Mario's power ups. And of course for a final boss against Eggman and Bowser, give Mario a super form with the chaos emeralds. And for playable characters on the Mario end, Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Toad, and on the Sonic end, Sonic, Shadow, Tails, and Knuckles. And a multiplayer team up mechanic similar to 3D World, New Super Mario Bros, and/or Sonic Advance 3 would be perfect for it.

    I don't think it would work out if Sonic Team has ANYTHING to do with it.

    In b4 jamesbowsers the hedgehog appears as a super secret hidden character who bursts in to save Mario and Sonic at the last second and becomes the new hero of mobius/mushroom kingdom.



    However, I do like the idea of Mario having a super form. They could call him Super Super Mario.



    Also, for the love of God richardhead leave my plant alone! I'm getting SUPER cereal over here!

    For 3D do you want Lost World or Adventure? Those games play very differently mate and are not the same.

    I'd go for one with a NFL-Blitz-esq American football game.



    I think the only reason why they won't is because soccer is much more popular outside the US, but Hell, it'd keep the Madden franchise from being a stupid unfair yet somehow legal monopoly for a little while at least.

    They should combine Mario is Missing with Sonic Lost World, and just cease to exist.

    Sonic wouldn’t need a kart, though.
