The post no one demanded
I have always found data mining this list to lead to lots of interesting connections to draw between the titles. Its the data that allowed us all to figure out when white seals started, when hangtabs stopped, the non rev a period, the sticker seal period, the made in japan vs mexico for snes, etc. To my way of thinking its the most important list there is for anyone interested in the history or that is trying to look into variants, etc.
Unfortunately, digital press's rarity guide no longer allows for this info to be looked up without a lot more work than was previously the case. In the interest of putting it somewhere semi permanent before they change things any further, I am going to sort and then dump the data here in case some head case besides myself finds this interesting.
Starting with 85- may 87 and I'll add more soon as I find time as it is now a bit of time consuming process to pull the info. I do notice DP has changed some of the information. I tend to think errors crept in when they changed their interface? Ducktales 2 and ducktales 1 have the same date listed (obvious error). More subtly, the first three third party games on the db were always the three bandais at 10/86. The first data east (Tag Team) has now joined them in that spot. Tag Team used to be listed as 11/86 not 10/86 (error, or refined information?).
