What everybody else did was wrong. Just because I decided to try and sell a game for more than it was worth doesn't make me a bad person literally or morally. Everybody was just being jealous and took it to another level. Do I hold a grudge? Somewhat, after having people call me retarded and others taking action against me on ebay. I felt that all the friends that I made here were really just a bunch of losers. I saw a profit in reselling those games but now its just a memory.
If everybody had a problem with it then instead of getting me booted from ebay they could have told me how they felt and left the decision up to me as to whether or not I would take the auction off or not. If I ever got another chance to sell a repro for a high price then I will do it. Your loss my gain and I really couldn't care less.
nah it's the douchery of the whole situation of lying that MOST people were upset about and with good reason .... Okay, I tried to approach this diplomatically and lay things out, but you decided to bring up an old argument that I wasn't even touching. Fine. You've done this to your own thread, good luck.
You also mentioned that you'd disclose to the person you sold these games to. Even if I believed you, that's not the point. I asked you to think about about the person who owns them AFTER that person. You can pledge to be as honest as you're capable of (and since you brought up Pirate Booty, you've proven that when there's profit to be made, you're not above outright lying), but what about the person you sell to. Once resealed games are loose and changing hands, there's no controlling them.
The only way to be completely honest is to take a small loose slip of paper and include it it under the seal for each one you do this to, that says "This is a reseal." That way you don't need to open the games, they look like all of your others in terms of neatness, and if you do ever sell them, well they speak for themselves.
So the question is, if your motives are pure, would you be willing to do this to each game you reseal?
Yeah sure. I didn't think of that. If I did reseal a game I wouldn't mind putting in a piece of paper that states that the game is a reseal.

Even if I personally knew how to make a Y-seal which I don't, (however I do have access to a sealer for DVD's and games) so i'm sure its possible... I quickly ignored the videos and the comments about them, and probably didn't notice. I've always thought something is wrong with marioshroomed. He's a fucking loser. Those videos suck ass, and he pulled one shady ass auction not even having a game and listing it on ebay for $1,000. I also remember reading one of his posts bitching about how he just got a PS3 for Xmas and then wasn't able to play it all day because he had to visit some of his family members. I agree 100%. Regardless of how much people might want to get some steam of their chest when the chance presents itself (in this thread) there can't be much more that hasn't been said. This thread has just become a repetitive bashing, it should just end. Whether Shroom actually understand something or finally learns a lesson from this is his deal, but everyone has said and done as much as they can.

Personally I am against resealing.I wouldn't want to get a reseal thinking I paid for a legit sealed copy. I think the issue opens a whole can of worms the community wants to keep tightly closed.
