If anybody here believes in this, I have a great product for you. I can sell you a marble... but this isn't just any marble. Gather your friends around in a circle. Lay my paper down under the marble (contains letters). Then begin to blow on the marble. The spirits will be pushed against the marble and will 'control' where the marble goes. You may need to disregard a few letters as spirit static noise may be strong in your play area. All of this for $10 shipped (inside the US). Screw the oujia boards, all it takes is for somebody to push the piece, but with my product there is none of that, just spirit winds.
I don't really think anybody here believes in them, but I wouldn't doubt some idiot somewhere does. Very true, idols don't have any power and it is frowned upon. In my belief though, you would have to have belief in it as an idol. If things are used in there usual form then I usually don't have any problem with them (oujia boards aside here, although they are just a game). Anything can be used sinfully, but common sense and good judgement are they key as usual. Again these are just my thoughts. BTW my post above was just a joke, but if anybody seriously wants a marble and a piece of paper with the alphabet for $10 I should have no problem

But Biblically, idols don't have any power, either, but God still frowns on their use pretty heavily.
