I couldn't find the thread on the CTCW forums, but one of the members actually got a CIB Atari 2600 game with the shipping label right on the box there was a picture and I was trying to find it

I guess there is a point where it's totally useless. But then again, somebody might still want it.
I would probably be that somebody. I've got a couple boxes in my collection right now that would barely pass as 2s on some of the most lenient scales of grading.
That in no way means I don't appreciate a good conditioned box, I just refuse to be picky when 90% of my stuff comes from flea markets and yard sales.
